tELEVISION experience

Rosanna is an experienced television news presenter, producer and editor, comfortable working in live and breaking news environments. Currently in Dubai, Rosanna is a Senior Presenter and show host for Al Arabiya English - the English service of the Arab World’s leading news channel. Prior to this, she hosted her own evening news show ‘Prime Time with Rosanna Lockwood’, 7-8pm on Talk TV in the UK. She was also selected by Piers Morgan to be his regular stand-in host for his flagship debate show ‘Piers Morgan Uncensored’. Previously, she was a London and Singapore-based correspondent and anchor for CNBC - the world leader in business news and real-time financial market coverage. Rosanna has a specialist interest in finance and business news and previously worked for Bloomberg TV in London, where she was a producer on the flagship mid-morning show, and at Reuters in Dubai, where she was a freelance television news correspondent covering Middle East business and Gulf stock markets. Rosanna also has significant experience presenting and reporting general news across a range of television and radio outlets. In the field, she has reported live from outside Downing Street in London, and from on board an aircraft carrier in the Singapore Strait.

RADIO EXPERIENCE

Rosanna began her journalism career as a freelance radio news reporter and producer for the BBC and LBC in the UK, which allowed her to gain a solid foundation and appreciation of the fundamentals of news gathering and production. After moving to Dubai in 2015, she developed these skills as a producer and presenter for local talk radio station Dubai Eye 103.8FM, covering news and lifestyle topics from across the region.
